Tigers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Träslövsläge BF the free kick. The supporters of Träslövsläge BF booed when Tigers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Hake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tigers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Harlén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Ålberg got free with Svante Ekström in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 64 minutes, Kent Harlén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With his leg Svante Ekström managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Träslövsläge BF's Stig Ålberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 80 played minutes, Träslövsläge BF's Nils-Erik Alefors shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Svante Ekström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Träslövsläge BF reached it. Birger Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Niklas Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Harlén in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niklas Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Träslövsläge BF's Stig Ålberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erland Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Svante Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erland Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Träslövsläge BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Svensson couldn't finish the play.
