Träslövsläge BF's Niklas Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Deckberg in the 11th minute of play. Niklas Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Deckberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Sven-Åke Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hammar RK's Bo Lund got control of the ball when Stig Ålberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Åke Deckberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Åke Deckberg in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Jonasson saved Träslövsläge BF from getting behind. Stig Ålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Lund having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Erland Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Lund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 74th minute, Erland Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Hammar RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Västberg to maneuver through the defense. Nicklas Åström struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Niklas Jonasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammar RK. Stig Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bo Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Erik Alefors hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Arne Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Niklas Jonasson made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Nicklas Åström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Nicklas Åström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niklas Jonasson, passed just outside the right post.
