Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon Widberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kjell Thidén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Johansson in the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Johansson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Thidén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, LaGåRn j0nAjTeD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Granberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in LaGåRn j0nAjTeD's zone, Simon Widberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Thidén came out of the goal and Simon Widberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Sefastsson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bernt Blomqvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Ulf Johansson made a precise shot to the right of Kjell Thidén. LaGåRn j0nAjTeD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ulf Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Thidén having to interfere. If Simon Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjell Thidén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Simon Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kjell Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Widberg struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Kjell Thidén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nybro BK. After the first half Nybro BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Sefastsson made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Nybro BK got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Bolin. Ulf Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Thidén having to interfere. Simon Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, LaGåRn j0nAjTeD's Kjell Thidén got control of the ball when Ulf Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Simon Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LaGåRn j0nAjTeD's zone, Simon Widberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Thidén came out of the goal and Simon Widberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kjell Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Thidén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
