When Emanuel Nykvist came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Enhörna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Nykvist couldn't finish the play. If Stig-Ove Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Höganäs United's Sven-Ove Odman got control of the ball when Emanuel Nykvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliver Smefeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Elof Apelkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Vennerberg having to make a save. Herbert Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Enhörna's Emanuel Nykvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Ove Odman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Staffan Vennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes, Lars-Erik Hjeltman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enhörna and the Höganäs United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Enhörna's Lars-Erik Hjeltman got a free kick in the 34th minute. Staffan Vennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Staffan Vennerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig-Ove Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Kalle Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elof Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elof Apelkvist made a kick off. Staffan Vennerberg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Herbert Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes of play, Enhörna's Stig-Ove Sjöberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Ove Odman was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Stig-Ove Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fred Berg fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enhörna's protests and gave Fred Berg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Enhörna getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fred Berg hit a great ball. Herbert Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Vennerberg having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Nykvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Odman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After having played for 97 minutes, Oliver Smefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Höganäs United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Smefeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Höganäs United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Enhörna.
