Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vincent Månsson made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Dalkurd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Dahlbom came free, but Fredrik Asklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Vincent Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Gustav Dahlbom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dalkurd FF's Fredrik Asklund. Fredrik Asklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Torgny Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greger Molander charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Molander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Markim Orkesta IF got a freekick which was hit by Greger Molander. With a little luck, Markim Orkesta IF's Erik Eriksson got control of the ball when Bror Västerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fredrik Asklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Dahlbom in the 18th minute of the match. Torgny Elg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Asklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Markim Orkesta IF got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Jansson. Markim Orkesta IF's Erik Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Markim Orkesta IF from getting a goal against them. Dalkurd FF's Fredrik Asklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Elg in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Jörn Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markim Orkesta IF's Gustav Dahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Månsson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Vincent Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Torgny Elg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredrik Asklund was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Elg made a kick off. Fredrik Asklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Asklund made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gustav Dahlbom sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Västerberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Markim Orkesta IF's goalkeeper Erik Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bror Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Erik Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markim Orkesta IF's Torgny Elg got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bror Västerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Eriksson having to interfere. Erik Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Västerberg in the 70th minute of play. Erik Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Markim Orkesta IF got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Torstensson. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Markim Orkesta IF's Torgny Elg in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fredrik Asklund was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dalkurd FF through an amazing save. If Gustav Dahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Dalkurd FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Mellberg to maneuver through the defense. When Jörn Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Markim Orkesta IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Jansson couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Torgny Elg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fredrik Asklund, passed just outside the right post. The Markim Orkesta IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Markim Orkesta IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
