When Fritz Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Studentgatan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Jonasson couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes, Mollösund's Johannes Säfström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrik Fernström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mollösund reached it. 21 minutes into the match, Mollösund's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Henriksson came free, but Simon Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Studentgatan FC's Fritz Jonasson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mollösund's goalie prevented a goal. Fritz Jonasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Lidberg. After having played for 28 minutes, Fritz Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Studentgatan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oliver Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Henrik Fernström made a huge save. Studentgatan FC's Karl-Erik Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Erik Henriksson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Simon Lidberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Studentgatan FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fritz Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliver Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Mollösund got a freekick which was hit by Linus Olsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Jonasson in the 67th minute of play forced Mollösund's goalkeeper Simon Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Studentgatan FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Wickander. Mollösund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Studentgatan FC the free kick. A collision led to Mollösund getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tord Söderman hit a great ball. 90 minutes in the game, Karl-Erik Henriksson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Simon Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Jonasson in the 99th minute of the match.
