Jakob Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Bergsten scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Pååk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Fagersanna BF's Hans Bäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Pååk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fagersanna BF's Marc Rönn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Persson in the 15th minute of play. Marc Rönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Jakob Persson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marc Rönn. The goal made the score 1-2. Mathias Alegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marc Rönn made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Odensbacken IF's Måns Holm got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Hans Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Pååk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jimmy Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Fagersanna BF's Hans Bäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Pååk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Fagersanna BF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marc Rönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Fagersanna BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Wahlström to maneuver through the defense. Marc Rönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Rönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Alegren in the 67th minute of the match. If Jimmy Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Hans Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagersanna BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Bäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jakob Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odensbacken IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Rönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jakob Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Odensbacken IF's Mathias Alegren in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna BF's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 minutes, André Hammarberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagersanna BF and the Odensbacken IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fagersanna BF getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. André Hammarberg hit a great ball. Jakob Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Rönn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Jimmy Bergsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Pååk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Bergsten ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Fagersanna BF's zone, Mathias Alegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Rönn came out of the goal and Mathias Alegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fagersanna BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
