Spectators: 7112 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kaj Björkqvist made the kick off which started today's match. If Douglas Gabrielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Ingvar Ekrot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Månstad IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Skruv's zone, Ingvar Ekrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Håkansson came out of the goal and Ingvar Ekrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ian Ljungberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Månstad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skruv the free kick. Allan Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rasmus Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasmus Ekström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaj Björkqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Stig Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Askberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Skruv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Ekrot in the 34th minute of play forced Skruv's goalkeeper Stig Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ingvar Ekrot notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Skruv's Stig Håkansson. Stig Håkansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Ekrot was the one to do the kick off. Stig Håkansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingvar Ekrot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. Douglas Gabrielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Månstad IF's Rasmus Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Björkqvist in the 59th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Månstad IF's Stig Håkansson threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Ekrot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rasmus Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Askberg got free with Stig Håkansson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Allan Godholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skruv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Godholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Ekrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stig Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ernst Askberg notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Skruv's Stig Håkansson. Stig Håkansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Karl Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Ekrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Skruv defense, Ernst Askberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Håkansson. The Skruv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Skruv's Kaj Björkqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Skruv supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Månstad IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Månstad IF.
