After a defensive mix-up in Sköldinge's zone, Daniel Kilman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Westerstrand came out of the goal and Daniel Kilman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hugo Högman came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bollnäs BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Högman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bollnäs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Kilman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars-Erik Westerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kilman in the 17th minute of play forced Sköldinge's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calle Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Bollnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Lidström came free, but Bo Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig Lidström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bo Bengtsson. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Stig Lidström might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Bengtsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Lidström ran back to his position shaking his head. Bo Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Lidström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Sköldinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Lidström to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Högman in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Lidström made a kick off. Joakim Spets hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Pelle Bergkvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sköldinge's Lars-Erik Westerstrand didn't even have to move. Stig Lidström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Kilman struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lars-Erik Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bollnäs BK. Joakim Spets hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bollnäs BK defense, Stig Lidström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Bengtsson. The Bollnäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. When Hugo Högman came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bollnäs BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Högman couldn't finish the play. Lars-Erik Westerstrand came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Bollnäs BK's Daniel Kilman. But to his dismay, Daniel Kilman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Patrik Pihlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Bengtsson skillfully saved the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
