Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jack Eklund made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to BK Startklar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Bäckström hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes Motala got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Uggstedt. In the 5th play minute Fabian Löfgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Åke Björling. 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match, Fabian Löfgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Åke Björling was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Motala's Anton Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Torbjörn Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Motala's Anton Åberg tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Ahlroht in the 17th minute of play forced Motala's goalkeeper Åke Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reine Wallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Kleen having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Anton Åberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Löfgren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Björling. Åke Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Åke Björling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Hellqvist in the 29th minute. A collision led to Motala getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Simon Kinell hit a great ball. Fabian Löfgren scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Björling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, BK Startklar's Christer Runeberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Motala's Åke Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Runeberg in the 41st minute of play. Christer Runeberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The supporters of Motala booed when BK Startklar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Vesterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arne Ahlroht made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christer Runeberg in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Björling saved Motala from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Fabian Löfgren notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Motala's Åke Björling. Åke Björling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Löfgren in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Björling saved Motala from getting behind. In the 67th minute Bengt-Åke Hellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Motala's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Hellqvist came free, but Åke Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Nyberg charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Nyberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes BK Startklar got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Nyberg. In the 73rd minute, Fabian Löfgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Startklar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 77th minute, Fabian Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Åke Björling was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Åke Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Hellqvist in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Hellqvist in the 93rd minute of play forced Motala's goalkeeper Åke Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Jack Eklund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikael Kleen. The goal made the score 8-1. When the referee ended the match the BK Startklar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
