Valter Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fredric Larsson made a huge save. The corner ended in Karl-Johan Wennerlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bangers's Fredric Larsson did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Båstad's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Grep came free, but Tomas Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Ahlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bangers.
