Victor Bergqvist came out of the goal and Sonny Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes Millennium if got a freekick which was hit by Kent Mattsson. Sonny Käller had several of the Millennium if's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Victor Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Henry Jönsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Ahlrot. Degerhamn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sonny Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Degerhamn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Malcolm Back blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Bergqvist having to make a save. Emanuel Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Bergqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Millennium if's Henry Jönsson got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes in the game Leif Wästerberg got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Käller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Käller in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Bergqvist saved Millennium if from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Karl-Axel Simonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerhamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Simonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Sonny Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Victor Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sonny Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Victor Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
