The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andreas Gunnarsson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Vittinge IK's Alvar Ekerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Enegren in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vittinge IK's goalkeeper Alvar Ekerot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Oskar Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Flink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvar Ekerot was a little too slow when Gustav Enegren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gustav Enegren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvar Ekerot came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustav Enegren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Gunnarsson got free with Alvar Ekerot in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, Vittinge IK's Oskar Stål made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Flink was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Andreas Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Ekerot having to interfere. Elof Wiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Flink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Stål fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Flink having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Stål stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvar Ekerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Gunnarsson in the 53rd minute of play. Christoffer Persson's late challenge caught a Fårbo FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoffer Persson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Christoffer Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Fårbo FF's Sven-Edvin Haeger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vittinge IK's goalkeeper Alvar Ekerot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Ekerot having to interfere.
