The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sigvard Norström during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fårbo FF booed when Rottne IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Rottne IF's Eskil Westerstrand made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Flink was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Enegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
