A collision led to Vansbro BK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fritz Lidberg hit a great ball. Marc Söderberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elliot Ekenberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ingvar Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Fritz Lidberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vansbro BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rottne IF the free kick. Vansbro BK's Elliot Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Westerstrand in the 20th minute of play. Elliot Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliot Ekenberg having to make a save. Inge Simonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Elliot Ekenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Söderberg in the 32nd minute. Elliot Ekenberg was a little too slow when Herbert Västerstrand got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Skytt in the 41st minute of play forced Vansbro BK's goalkeeper Elliot Ekenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vansbro BK's Elliot Ekenberg got control of the ball when Eskil Westerstrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Ingvar Skytt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elliot Ekenberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th match minute, Rottne IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Dennis Eriksson made the kick off in the second half. Elliot Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Skytt in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Vansbro BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Skytt came free, but Elliot Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Rottne IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense. Vansbro BK's Fritz Lidberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Fritz Lidberg off the ground. 63 minutes into the game, Ingvar Skytt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elliot Ekenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Vansbro BK's Kenneth Anundsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Rottne IF's Marc Söderberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Ekenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 81 played minutes Rottne IF got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Västerstrand. Elliot Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Westerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Inge Simonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ingvar Skytt made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Ekenberg. Vansbro BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ingvar Skytt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Lindholm charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Lindholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rottne IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vansbro BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
