A collision led to Örebro Syrianska IF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Isac Samuelsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Örebro Syrianska IF's Herbert Gråberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dan Nordal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Lindsten in the 9th minute of the match. Jan-Olof Eliasson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jan-Olof Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Nordal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Gråberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Jan-Åke Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thumatorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Blomquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Samuelsson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Olof Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nordal having to interfere. If Jan-Olof Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Örebro Syrianska IF fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Örebro Syrianska IF's Elof Lindsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 38 played minutes Kjell Tunberg rounded Örebro Syrianska IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Jan-Åke Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Åström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Örebro Syrianska IF's zone, Sivert Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Åström came out of the goal and Sivert Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Jan-Olof Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Nordal had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Elof Lindsten from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 57 minutes into the match, FC Thumatorp's goalkeeper Dan Nordal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson. In the 60th minute, Elof Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jan-Åke Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thumatorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Blomquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Åström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Örebro Syrianska IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. FC Thumatorp's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Elof Lindsten scored to the left of an out of position Dan Nordal, making the score, 1-2. Elof Lindsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nordal having to interfere. FC Thumatorp's Dan Nordal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thumatorp from getting a goal against them. Jan-Olof Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dan Nordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Örebro Syrianska IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. The Örebro Syrianska IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Örebro Syrianska IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
