Erling Wallman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tord Billvall went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alvin Blom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karungi BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ola Grubb, was totally fooled by Falkenberg's Sven-Ove Bjursell, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Ove Bjursell during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven-Ove Bjursell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Karungi BF's Aaron Arenstedt in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Tord Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Karungi BF's Conny Månsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erling Wallman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karungi BF's Tord Billvall got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Falkenberg getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mikael Östman hit a great ball. Tord Billvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Erling Wallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Mårten Berglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karungi BF and the Falkenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karungi BF's Ola Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Myhr in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Karungi BF's goalkeeper Ola Grubb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ola Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Myhr in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Tord Billvall made a precise shot to the right of Erling Wallman. Falkenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Gert Myhr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ola Grubb having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tord Billvall got free with Erling Wallman in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gert Myhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karungi BF's zone, Gert Myhr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ola Grubb came out of the goal and Gert Myhr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludvig Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Grubb having to interfere. If Gert Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karungi BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
