Nordkoster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Forssberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Jens-Åke Lustig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Malte Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pär Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nordkoster's Christopher Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Kjellbom in the 39th minute of play. Christopher Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Strandberg in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 49 minutes, Malte Strandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malte Strandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Karl-Erik Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of The Red Devils booed when Nordkoster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Åke Lustig had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Melker Säf's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eddie Forssberg scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Lustig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Hökkvist in the 101st minute of play forced The Red Devils's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Lustig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nordkoster were victorious despite being under pressure from The Red Devils for much of the match.
