After 13 played minutes Samba Holm got a freekick which was hit by Sören Hellqvist. After having played for 14 minutes, Axel Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harambe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Harambe booed when Samba Holm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Hellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Harambe's Axel Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Hultstrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Jonas Ström made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Johnsson. Harambe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Samba Holm's Joakim Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Blom in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 minutes of play Samba Holm's Sören Hellqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Samba Holm's Sören Hellqvist got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Brian Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harambe's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Hultstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axel Blom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Joakim Hultstrand 43 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Henriksson got free with Joakim Hultstrand in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jonas Ström made the kick off in the second half. Brian Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Hultstrand having to interfere. Axel Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Harambe's zone, Jonas Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Johnsson came out of the goal and Jonas Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Harambe's Axel Blom in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samba Holm's goalie prevented a goal. Simon Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Brian Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hultstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Henriksson in the 69th minute of the match.
