In the 6th minute Eric Dalberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Harambe's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Biörling came free, but Andreas Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Blom in the 10th minute of play forced Åtvidaberg FF's goalkeeper Olov Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brian Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Harambe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Henriksson couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Åtvidaberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Blom came free, but Olov Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Harambe's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Dalberg came free, but Andreas Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Henriksson got free with Olov Norberg in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Åke Fransson's late challenge caught a Harambe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Åke Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. Stig-Åke Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Harambe's Olov Norberg threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Blom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andreas Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Biörling in the 42nd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Blom to strike the kick off in the second half. Åtvidaberg FF's Olov Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Henriksson in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Harambe getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ivar Jonsson hit a great ball. Ivar Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Dalberg got free with Andreas Johnsson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Henriksson in the 66th minute of play forced Åtvidaberg FF's goalkeeper Olov Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Olov Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Åtvidaberg FF's zone, Brian Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Norberg came out of the goal and Brian Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Helge Biörling recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andreas Johnsson. Helge Biörling showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Brian Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harambe's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Harambe's Axel Blom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ivar Jonsson charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivar Jonsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivar Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Åtvidaberg FF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Harambe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
