If Bengt-Rune Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute of the match, Adrian Jansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig Isaksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Sven-Åke Ström came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Skillingsfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Ström couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Vincent Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Askstedt in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Sven-Åke Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Skillingsfors FF's zone, Gustav Hylander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Isaksson came out of the goal and Gustav Hylander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Oviken IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Jansson got free with Stig Isaksson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adrian Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Gustav Hylander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Stig Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Hylander made a kick off. With splendid footwork Vincent Askstedt arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 52nd minute. A collision led to Skillingsfors FF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sven-Åke Ström hit a great ball. Stig Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Hylander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Tham made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bengt-Rune Qvarnström sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Christer Dahlbom from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Alexander Tham's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skillingsfors FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Gustav Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Rune Qvarnström might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Tham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Rune Qvarnström ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Vincent Askstedt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bengt-Rune Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Hylander in the 84th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bengt-Rune Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tham having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Oviken IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Springfält to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oviken IFK had won after a very even match.
