Joakim Hultstrand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Hylander went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Eskilsson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Ströms short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Alexander Tham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bengt-Åke Springfält's late challenge caught a Samba Holm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Springfält helped the player get up and apologised. Mathias Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tham having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Mathias Stenqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Oviken IFK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Springfält hit a great ball. The long shot by Filip Martinsson in the 34th minute really tested Alexander Tham's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Mathias Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Hellqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sören Hellqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sören Hellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Oviken IFK's Karl Strand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joakim Hultstrand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Stenqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bengt-Åke Springfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Stenqvist in the 55th minute of the match. Adrian Jansson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Oviken IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joakim Hultstrand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustav Hylander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. After 69 played minutes Samba Holm got a freekick which was hit by Måns Tolsson. Simon Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Karl Strand, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Mathias Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samba Holm's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Tham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jonas Ström came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Samba Holm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Ström couldn't finish the play. Adrian Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Joakim Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oviken IFK's zone, Jonas Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Tham came out of the goal and Jonas Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oviken IFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
