After 7 played minutes Staffanstorp United FC got a freekick which was hit by David Jonasson. When Hakuna Matata's Tommy Bålström in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staffanstorp United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Edvard Vestlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Bålström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Staffanstorp United FC's David Jonasson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Viggo Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvard Vestlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viggo Nordström ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Ugla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Hakuna Matata's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Bodin came free, but Rudolf Ugla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Vestlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Bålström in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Staffanstorp United FC booed when Hakuna Matata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Linberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lennart Kvick fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staffanstorp United FC's protests and gave Lennart Kvick a yellow card for diving instead. Lennart Kvick kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Edvard Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Tommy Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alf Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torgny Vennerdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rudolf Ugla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tor Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Ekström might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Ugla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Ekström ran back to his position shaking his head. Alf Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Ugla having to interfere. Rudolf Ugla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Bodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Staffanstorp United FC's Alf Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Staffanstorp United FC's Edvard Vestlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Nordström in the 97th minute of play. Hakuna Matata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
