Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A wasted opportunity for Staffanstorp United FC. After a defensive mix-up in Teckomatorp BK's zone, Alf Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Hedvall came out of the goal and Alf Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josef Sundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Sundberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Teckomatorp BK's Josef Sundberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tor Bodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Bodin in the 20th minute of play forced Teckomatorp BK's goalkeeper Johnny Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alf Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingmar Palmkvist's late challenge caught a Teckomatorp BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingmar Palmkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Staffanstorp United FC got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Palmkvist. Fabian Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edvard Vestlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Anton Näfver in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Fabian Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffanstorp United FC's goalkeeper Edvard Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teckomatorp BK's Johnny Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Ekström in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Staffanstorp United FC booed when Teckomatorp BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Teckomatorp BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Bodin came free, but Johnny Hedvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teckomatorp BK's Johnny Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Bodin in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Bodin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Fredriksson in the 56th minute of play forced Staffanstorp United FC's goalkeeper Edvard Vestlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teckomatorp BK's Johnny Hedvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Teckomatorp BK from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Västlund's late challenge caught a Staffanstorp United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Västlund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Teckomatorp BK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gunnar Västlund hit a great ball. Johnny Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Fabian Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Vestlund having to interfere. Alf Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Hedvall having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Alf Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffanstorp United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Bodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Näfver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Vestlund having to interfere. Teckomatorp BK's Fabian Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Staffanstorp United FC's Alf Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Tor Bodin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johnny Hedvall, 2-1. Alf Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alf Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alf Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Bodin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Hedvall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
