In the 14th minute Gösta Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Heggert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvar Odén charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Odén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvar Odén hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Asplund in the 16th minute of play forced Lotorp's goalkeeper Wiktor Heggert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Lotorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Odén to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Månsson having to interfere. Wilhelm Vennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Vennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Ahlbeck was the one to do the kick off. Pallas Styx's Erling Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Ahlbeck in the 60th minute of play. When Valentin Björk fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pallas Styx's protests and gave Valentin Björk a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Björk hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lotorp's Bertil Ahlbeck got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gösta Asplund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Heggert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Wilhelm Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lotorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
