Grimstorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skånelaget the free kick. Jonas Lööf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jon Hegg made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Grimstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Kjellman came free, but Aaron Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmund Wennerberg was the one to do the kick off. Grimstorp's Jonas Lööf got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jon Hegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lööf in the 57th minute of the match. Lars-Erik Arenius struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jon Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grimstorp. In the 60th minute, Nils Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Arenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hegg having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Johnny Mattsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Jonasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jonas Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Lars-Erik Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skånelaget's zone, Lars-Erik Arenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Hegg came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Arenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jonas Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Grimstorp players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
