The supporters of Örby booed when Grimstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Kinnman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Jonasson. Grimstorp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Örby's Lennart Hasselqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Grimstorp getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dag Björk hit a great ball. Lennart Hasselqvist succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Lars-Erik Arenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örby's Oskar Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Lööf in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Lars-Erik Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Lars-Erik Arenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernst Kjellberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Olle Ivarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Örby and the Grimstorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Grimstorp's Sven-Arne Sandwall tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Örby getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Holger Alfors hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Örby's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Hedvall came free, but Oskar Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Jönsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Lööf in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Jönsson saved Örby from getting behind. With a little luck, Grimstorp's Aaron Jonasson got control of the ball when Lennart Hasselqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lennart Hasselqvist sped through Grimstorp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aaron Jonasson. Grimstorp's Aaron Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Hasselqvist in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Uggstedt in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jack Uggstedt came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Örby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Uggstedt couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Grimstorp getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rickard Hedvall hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Örby's Lennart Hasselqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Jonas Lööf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Lööf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erland Enegren's late challenge caught a Örby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Enegren helped the player get up and apologised. Erland Enegren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Hasselqvist in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Jonasson saved Grimstorp from getting behind. Aaron Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Uggstedt in the 97th minute of the match. Grimstorp's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
