Wiktor Åkerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Mattias Hellström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiktor Åkerström. Karlssons fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Hellström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tord Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Tord Hellbom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jon Hegg, 1-1. Edmund Wennerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karlssons fotboll's Wiktor Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Kjellman in the 16th minute of play. Edmund Wennerberg scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiktor Åkerström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jon Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 32 minutes of play, Skånelaget's Edmund Wennerberg made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Åkerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Torgny Kjellman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skånelaget's protests and gave Torgny Kjellman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Torgny Kjellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Hegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Hellbom's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Skånelaget were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tord Hellbom made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Persson in the 57th minute of play forced Skånelaget's goalkeeper Jon Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Kjellman got free with Wiktor Åkerström in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Skånelaget's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Godholm came free, but Jon Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Karlssons fotboll's goalkeeper Wiktor Åkerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Hellström. Tord Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Hellbom got in the 95th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jon Hegg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Karlssons fotboll manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Skånelaget to win.
