Jack Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Torsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oskar Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Jack Uggstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Hegg. Skånelaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Uggstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Hasselqvist in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hegg saved Skånelaget from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Uggstedt in the 27th minute of play forced Skånelaget's goalkeeper Jon Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Jönsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Wennerberg went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Wennerberg got free with Oskar Jönsson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Jack Uggstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Hasselqvist struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jon Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örby. After a defensive mix-up in Skånelaget's zone, Jack Uggstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Hegg came out of the goal and Jack Uggstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 57 played minutes Örby got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Josefsson. Edmund Wennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Jönsson having to interfere. Edmund Wennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Oskar Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Skånelaget fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Hegg should have stopped the shot. The Örby supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Örby would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
