Wiktor Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Bergendahl in the 18th minute of the match. Wiktor Åkerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Bergendahl went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the game, Rimforsa's Tony Vestlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Åkerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Tord Hellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Isaksson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Maximilian Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Godholm in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Karlssons fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Frykberg came free, but Wiktor Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Tony Vestlund had to leave the field with a concussion. Anders Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Karlssons fotboll defense, Ernst Bergendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiktor Åkerström. The Karlssons fotboll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiktor Åkerström should have stopped the shot. The Karlssons fotboll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rimforsa were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Bergendahl was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Johannes Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tord Hellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Isaksson was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of Karlssons fotboll booed when Rimforsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Frykberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Bergendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dick Larsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rimforsa's Folke Eriksson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ernst Bergendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Karlssons fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Frykberg came free, but Wiktor Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiktor Åkerström made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ernst Bergendahl sent off a good shot on target. The Rimforsa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rimforsa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
