Michel Alebäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Skager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kurt Olsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Skager came free, but Kurt Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peder Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Söderström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludwig Bivall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Kurt Olsman got control of the ball when Michel Alebäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Svanskog BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Burman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Peder Valler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nykvarn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svanskog BF the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Valler to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Olsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Boman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Boman in the 34th minute of play. If Peder Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Johnny Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svanskog BF's Ludwig Bivall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Ingemar Boman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Johnny Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykvarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnny Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Svanskog BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Olsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Alebäck in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Svanskog BF got a freekick which was hit by Eric Hultstrand. Kurt Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Alebäck in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ingemar Boman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Peder Valler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Ludwig Bivall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peder Valler came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ludwig Bivall could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Ingemar Boman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Olsman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kurt Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Boman in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
