Stockamöllan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Stockamöllan's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Ström came free, but Benjamin Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Ström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Floby IK defense, Olov Berggren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Erik Lundin. The Floby IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Erik Lundin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Floby IK's Brian Borre got a free kick in the 60th minute. Olov Berggrens short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Sven-Erik Lundin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wiktor Söderlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Palmquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Floby IK booed when Stockamöllan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Floby IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stockamöllan:s goal. In the 83rd minute, Billy Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Borre in the 87th minute of play forced Stockamöllan's goalkeeper Benjamin Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Stockamöllan's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Ström came free, but Benjamin Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
