The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, one of Floby IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Floby IK. Billy Ström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulrik Arenstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Brian Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Cyberdyne United's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Söderlund came free, but Ulrik Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Floby IK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Brian Borre hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Lundin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thor Benett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Billy Ström hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Thor Benett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floby IK's Sven-Erik Lundin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albin Lilja's late challenge caught a Floby IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Lilja helped the player get up and apologised. Albin Lilja hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, one of Cyberdyne United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulrik Arenstedt had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Paul Bäcklin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Paul Bäcklin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cyberdyne United's Ulrik Arenstedt. Ulrik Arenstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mark Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Lundin having to interfere. Ulrik Arenstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mark Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cyberdyne United's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Dahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulrik Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Mark Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Floby IK's Billy Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Albin Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Billy Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Floby IK booed when Cyberdyne United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Falck didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Floby IK's Ulrik Arenstedt threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Billy Ström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cyberdyne United had played much better football throughout.
