Olov Kinnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Lilja having to interfere. The By kyrkby IFK fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when By kyrkby IFK's Thomas Hamnberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olov Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Everöd FF got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Lööf. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Hamnberg got free with Oscar Lilja in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Hamnberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Oscar Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Thomas Hamnberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Anders Lövskog fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Everöd FF's protests and gave Anders Lövskog a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Everöd FF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Lövskog. After a rather tough play, Everöd FF's Elliot Lööf got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Olov Kinnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Everöd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Kinnman came free, but Oscar Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Hamnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Palmkvist during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Öberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 56 played minutes By kyrkby IFK got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Hamnberg. The audience was convinced that Olov Kinnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Lilja was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for By kyrkby IFK! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Everöd FF. Fritz Jansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johannes Öberg. 1-1. The supporters of By kyrkby IFK booed when Everöd FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Palmkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Lilja. Everöd FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olov Kinnman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Lilja having to make a save. Thomas Hamnberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Lilja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Hamnberg ran back to his position shaking his head.
