Christian Britz scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilgot Ekgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Hubert Martinsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claes Gullesson. Hubert Martinsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Södra Vi BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Henrik Hultman scored to the left of an out of position Claes Gullesson, making the score, 2-1. Henrik Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Gullesson having to interfere. Pål Sandwall kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Vitå IFK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Alströmer. Vilgot Ekgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Tillman in the 22nd minute of play. Hubert Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Gullesson having to interfere. Hubert Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Gullesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Christian Britz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilgot Ekgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Vitå IFK's Vilgot Ekgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Britz in the 38th minute of play. Jan Smed hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Smed during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vitå IFK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jan Smed hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Hultman to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Anders Alströmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vitå IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södra Vi BF the free kick. Anders Alströmer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Södra Vi BF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christian Britz hit a great ball. Christian Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Ekgren having to interfere. Claes Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Martinsson in the 68th minute of play. Henrik Hultman struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Claes Gullesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitå IFK. Claes Gullesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Martinsson in the 70th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Södra Vi BF got a freekick which was hit by Aron Söderström. Hubert Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Hubert Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitå IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitå IFK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Södra Vi BF to leave the ground with a draw.
