After having played for 13 minutes, Paul Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dals Långed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Åke Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Tillman, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Pål Sandwall's late challenge caught a Dals Långed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Gullesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Claes Gullesson managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Dals Långed's Paul Martinsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claes Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Nyberg in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Eric Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dals Långed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claes Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Orvar Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51st minute, Daniel Tillman made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Ahlfors. Dals Långed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 60th minute, Paul Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Eric Nyberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Claes Gullesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Claes Gullesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dals Långed. When Paul Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Dals Långed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Martinsson couldn't finish the play. Eric Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Claes Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Snell hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The Dals Långed fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Dals Långed's Paul Martinsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the game, Benjamin Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dals Långed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södra Vi BF the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Dals Långed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Jan Lidberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Svante Bjursell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Södra Vi BF's Claes Gullesson didn't even have to move. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dals Långed had played much better football throughout.
