Anton Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Hedlund having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, FC Salabacke's Henric Kihlman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Hedlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Kellbom in the 9th minute of play forced Vans FK's goalkeeper Pelle Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Anton Kellbom made a precise shot to the right of Pelle Hedlund. Vans FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Anton Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Hedlund having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Salabacke's goalkeeper Patrick Klemensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Salabacke's Anton Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vans FK's zone, Henric Kihlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Hedlund came out of the goal and Henric Kihlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Kellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pelle Hedlund having to make a save. 45 minutes into the game, one of Vans FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for FC Salabacke. Ingvar Holm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pelle Hedlund. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henric Kihlman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC Salabacke booed when Vans FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Salabacke's Ingvar Holm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pelle Hedlund but with some difficulty. If Bengt-Rune Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Klemensson having to interfere. Daniel Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Vans FK got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Kvist. FC Salabacke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingvar Holm in the 72nd minute. FC Salabacke's Ingvar Holm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pelle Hedlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Måns Vester during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vans FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Måns Vester hit a great ball. The long shot by Ingvar Holm in the 77th minute really tested Pelle Hedlund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pelle Hedlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelle Hedlund made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Anton Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. If Albin Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Albin Vennersten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Patrick Klemensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The Vans FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Salabacke's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Salabacke.
