After 10 minutes of play, Olofström's Edvard Friberger made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Stenström was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by George Mattsson in the 20th minute of play forced Olofström's goalkeeper Tobias Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Stenström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Lövskog in the 21st minute. Jimmy Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Friberger in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Billy Lövskog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Lövskog couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Wallgren in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Olofström getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Krister Åberg hit a great ball. Tobias Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Wallgren in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Friberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olofström's Tobias Bredberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Olofström from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Skarkman during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Olofström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Skarkman to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Olofström's goalkeeper Tobias Bredberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Mattsson. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höja IF's goalkeeper Jimmy Stenström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olofström fully deserved thier win.
