If Daniel Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Vans FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Hedlund having to interfere. Elliot Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Vennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jimmy Stenström made a huge save. If Albin Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Vans FK's goal looked a bit too open when George Mattsson came free, but Pelle Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Hedlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Lindström in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Vans FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Vester to maneuver through the defense. When Måns Vester fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vans FK's protests and gave Måns Vester a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 minutes, Leonardo Wallgren made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vans FK's Pelle Hedlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmy Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Albin Vennersten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Stenström having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Albin Vennersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vans FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Höja IF.
