Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Henric Kihlman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Salabacke's Patrick Klemensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Friberger in the 3rd minute of play. Eddie Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Eddie Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henric Kihlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bredberg having to interfere. Olofström's Tobias Bredberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Olofström from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Billy Lövskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Klemensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tobias Bredberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Anton Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Salabacke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Kellbom in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tobias Bredberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes Olofström got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Karlsson. If Anton Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Henric Kihlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Salabacke's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Kihlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Bredberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isac Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Klemensson having to interfere. If Edvard Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Friberger to make the kick off. Erik Alebeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Bredberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Kellbom's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Kellbom in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edvard Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Klemensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Lövskog in the 62nd minute. Edvard Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Klemensson having to interfere. Patrick Klemensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Friberger in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Olofström booed when FC Salabacke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Ennegren, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Sigvard Säv fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Salabacke's protests and gave Sigvard Säv a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Salabacke getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sigvard Säv hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Salabacke's zone, Eddie Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Klemensson came out of the goal and Eddie Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Salabacke's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Friberger came free, but Patrick Klemensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Klemensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Lövskog in the 86th minute. 95 minutes into the game, FC Salabacke's Henric Kihlman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Bredberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olofström players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Salabacke.
