Calle Forssberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Finman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Skärplinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. Elliott Lindell charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliott Lindell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elliott Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Skärplinge's Matthias Lund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calle Forssberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skärplinge reached it. Sven-Oskar Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Gernberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, one of Skärplinge:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skärplinge. Jimmie Drake had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Isak Häger's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bertil Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Calle Forssberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, FC Street's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Nordin came free, but Calle Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Finman in the 28th minute of play forced FC Street's goalkeeper Calle Forssberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bertil Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, FC Street was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. Calle Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Finman in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Gallberg was the one to do the kick off. Jimmie Drake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Gallberg in the 52nd minute of the match. When Bertil Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Skärplinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Nordin couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Sven-Oskar Finman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calle Forssberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jimmie Drake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Gallberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Bertil Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Skärplinge booed when FC Street was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Gernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Oskar Finman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Forssberg having to interfere. A collision led to FC Street getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Elliott Lindell hit a great ball. Bertil Nordin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Calle Forssberg made a huge save. Jimmie Drake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Street fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skärplinge were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
