Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fenerbahce's Håkan Lindström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kent Wall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullspång's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Wall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gullspång's Kent Wall got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Lindström in the 8th minute of play forced Gullspång's goalkeeper Pär Biörling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Gullspång's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Josefsson came free, but Pär Biörling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fenerbahce's Håkan Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Gullspång's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindström came free, but Pär Biörling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Gullspång's Patrick Alegren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingmar Holmberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fenerbahce's Ingmar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Wall in the 25th minute of play. Patrick Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pär Biörling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Lindström in the 33rd minute of play. Ingmar Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Patrick Alegren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingmar Holmberg. The goal made the score 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Alegren was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahce's zone, Kent Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Holmberg came out of the goal and Kent Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Patrick Alegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Alegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Holmberg having to make a save. Patrick Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Holmberg having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Kellbom's late challenge caught a Gullspång's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Kellbom helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Fenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Kellbom. Patrick Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kent Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Alegren in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingmar Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Alegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Holmberg having to interfere. Ingmar Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Holmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Alegren's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Kent Wall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gullspång fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gullspång's zone, Håkan Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Biörling came out of the goal and Håkan Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
