Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Lööf, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sangis IF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sangis IF's Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Vennersten in the 12th minute of play. If Michel Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Lööf's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a little luck, FC Snedspark's Stefan Eliasson got control of the ball when Ivar Vennerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes FC Snedspark got a freekick which was hit by Hans Lund. Ivar Vennerberg struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Stefan Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangis IF. When Joakim Vennersten came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Snedspark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Vennersten couldn't finish the play. Joakim Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Joakim Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Hedvall charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Hedvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Sangis IF got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Hedvall. Sangis IF's Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Lööf in the 46th minute of play. FC Snedspark were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Sangis IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Bratt took the corner. The corner ended in Gilbert Bratt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sangis IF's Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson did a great save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Lööf made a kick off. Joakim Vennerstens short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Joakim Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Sangis IF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Lööf. If Michel Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sangis IF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joakim Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson having to interfere. FC Snedspark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Lööf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sangis IF booed when FC Snedspark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Joakim Vennersten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Michel Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Ambjörnsson having to interfere. When Per Sillén fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Snedspark's protests and gave Per Sillén a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Snedspark getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Per Sillén hit a great ball. Stefan Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Wallin in the 98th minute of the match. Sangis IF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Snedspark had controlled the match.
