Edvard Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jan-Olof Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Kråk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Olof Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Kjell Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Kråk in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Olof Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Åstol BK's Rolf Wiman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jan-Olof Karlsson but with some difficulty. Jan-Olof Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Albäck in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Åstol BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
