Arboninho FC's Kristoffer Moberg suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig Olsmann during the 18th minute. Brian Stenström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uno Österlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Ted Sjö hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Holsljunga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Stenström came free, but Uno Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brian Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Holsljunga IF booed when Arboninho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stig Skålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Stig Skålbergs short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Sven-Olof Kjellberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ted Sjö hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Holsljunga IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holsljunga IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
