In the 23rd minute, Thor Adelsköld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludwig Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Carlberg having to interfere. Tor Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Birger Carlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Olsmann in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, Holsljunga IF's Uno Österlund got control of the ball when Sigvard Stenkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Bergstedt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hammarstrand FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holsljunga IF the free kick. In the 41st minute, Klas Dahlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ludwig Olsmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holsljunga IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Olsmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Carlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holsljunga IF's Uno Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Adelsköld in the 64th minute of play. Klas Dahlman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Stig Skålberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hammarstrand FK's Birger Carlberg. Birger Carlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Holsljunga IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
