Spectators: 7133 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) BW90's Niklas Bolander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Dick Viklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenny Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Alin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BW90's Jonny Finnman got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's Kenny Beckeman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Alin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, BW90's Anders Alström threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niklas Bolander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Niklas Bolander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Anders Alström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jan Alin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Bolander came free, but Anders Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenny Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Alin having to interfere. In the 46th minute Dick Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Beckeman might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Alin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenny Beckeman ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Viklund was the one to do the kick off. Kenny Beckeman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Alin having to make a save. If Kenny Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes POLICASTRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Herman Eriksson. If Niklas Bolander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to POLICASTRO FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Herman Eriksson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Viklund in the 92nd minute of play forced BW90's goalkeeper Jan Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
