Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dick Viklund started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes POLICASTRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Ingemarsson. Anders Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Svanström hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, POLICASTRO FC's Christian Ingemarsson tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kim Björkdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Alström having to make a save. POLICASTRO FC's Anders Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Björkdahl in the 13th minute of play. Rutger Ahlroth's late challenge caught a POLICASTRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutger Ahlroth helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Billinge got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Ahlroth. After a defensive mix-up in Billinge's zone, Kenny Beckeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Bergstedt came out of the goal and Kenny Beckeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Billinge's Rutger Ahlroth got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Kristiansson got free with Anders Alström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patric Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Anders Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Björkdahl in the 32nd minute of play. Kim Björkdahl had several of the POLICASTRO FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Anders Alström as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Jimmy Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kim Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rutger Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Billinge booed when POLICASTRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Hultin didn't get a good kick on the ball. POLICASTRO FC's Anders Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Björkdahl in the 46th minute of play. Jimmy Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kim Björkdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Kristiansson came free, but Anders Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64thth minute of the game Jimmy Kristiansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLICASTRO FC's Anders Alström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. POLICASTRO FC's Anders Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Kristiansson in the 67th minute of play. Kim Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Alström having to interfere. In the 77th minute Kenneth Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rutger Ahlroth was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Kenny Beckeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Billinge fans cheered their team off the field, for while POLICASTRO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
