After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lars Fernkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Idkerberget IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Fernkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Alström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Fernkvist struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anders Alström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Idkerberget IK. POLICASTRO FC's Kenny Beckeman got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Valter Kruse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POLICASTRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Idkerberget IK the free kick. After 20 played minutes POLICASTRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Valter Kruse. Lars Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Sven Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Idkerberget IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herman Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Benet having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Sten Pil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenny Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Pil came free, but Anders Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dick Viklund made a kick off. Maximilian Benet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 63rd minute Herman Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dick Viklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Benet was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Idkerberget IK's Maximilian Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Beckeman in the 68th minute of play. Per-Åke Wallin's late challenge caught a POLICASTRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Fernkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anders Alström. That made the score 1-1 in the 76 minute of play. With a little luck, POLICASTRO FC's Anders Alström got control of the ball when Sven Lind tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Fernkvist came free, but Anders Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in POLICASTRO FC's zone, Sven Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Alström came out of the goal and Sven Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Idkerberget IK's goalkeeper Maximilian Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
