Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Niklas Bolander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Paul Hellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to BW90 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jan-Erik Delin hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Kim Björkdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Björkdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Finnman charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Finnman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jimmy Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Kim Björkdahl put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Alin. 23 minutes into the match, Billinge's Kim Björkdahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Alin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Björkdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Billinge getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rutger Ahlroth hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Björkdahl in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Alin saved BW90 from getting behind. The supporters of BW90 booed when Billinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Östman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billinge's Kim Björkdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Alin having to interfere. Kim Björkdahl struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jan Alin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billinge. Jan Alin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy Kristiansson's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Billinge were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Björkdahl to make the kick off. Jimmy Kristiansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan Alin could save by the left post. In the 52nd match minute, BW90 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Delin to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jan Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BW90 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonny Finnman hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Michael Johnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BW90 the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Billinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Brandt didn't quite understand what happened when in the 67 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jimmy Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Alin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BW90's Fredric Markusson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Jimmy Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Jimmy Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kim Björkdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Kim Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billinge played a much better game than BW90 and deserved their victory. The BW90 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
